Visit of the Distillery and insight into liquor production, tasting of 3 products and mini cocktail
Join us in our distillery and visitors center as we give you insight in how you make fantastic spirits with balance and texture.   A 90 minute spirits masterclass with a comparative tasting.   How to mix a perfect Dry Martini and tasting of. Spirits production knowledge What is Gin and aquavit and where are these categories heading? How to evaluate spirits + guided tasting – giving the audience skill and information how to objectively asses different products.     Introducing our modern house-style Aquavit, born out of Swedish tradition. To be enjoyed mixed in cocktails or served chilled neat. Features a balanced blend of caraway, fennel, elderflower, coriander seed, juniper and Swedish apples. You will also be tasting our signature house gin, a traditional London Dry Gin, featuring bold juniper with a balanced blend of nordic flavours; Juniper berries, Lingonberries, Coriander seed, Orris root, Angelica root, Fennel seeds and Meadowsweet. The third sample is always something special we are working on.   At our distillery, we meticulously distill and bottle high-quality spirits. Using our hand-operated 110 liter copper pot still, housed in the centuries-old Reijmyre Glassworks, we focus on creating liquids with balance and rich texture. Our aim is to showcase traditional Nordic flavours and highlight Swedish grain spirits. A key mission is to bring attention to the Aquavit category, offering a delightful insight into Swedish distillation and craftsmanship. We are proud to make Swedish Aquavit, which has a GI. The EU geographical indications system protects the names of products that originate from specific regions and have specific qualities and enjoy a reputation linked to the production territory. All our products are exclusivley made from swedish winter wheat grain spirit. Our pot still is run by our Master Distiller Bex Almqvist, and is hand operated. How the still is run is important to the end product; reflux, pressure, temprature and where the cuts are made are examples that reflect the end product.
